Corsica

My favourite spot we visited on the whole cruise was Ajaccio.  I would seriously like to go back there and spend some time on their beautiful beaches and, yes, their excellent turtle and tortoise sancuary!  It had mountains, beachs, great food and a feeling of cottage country.   There is a sweet smell in the air where ever we went as well, a combination of all the herbs and wild flowers that grow on the roadsides.

I loved the turtle place.  We saw what we thought was a turtle fight and gathered our fellow tourists around to see it and take a picture only to discover that they were in fact mating.  No one was pleased.
