Snowy Owl!

At Christmas we were home for a bit of a shop and a sneaky trip over the border.  We had an amazing sighting of a snow owl which was completely unexpected.  I haven't seen one since I was a small child.  It was in an urban area as well which seemed really odd.  It was hopping around on a school playing feild.  It was a bit distant.  I wish I hadn't thrown my camera into the sea in bloody Norway!
