Here are some pics from Mom and Dad's recent visit:
On their first full day we went straight into London and saw the sights.
Here they are inside a pod of the eye. Does that make it an eyepod? Ha!
Trying on a fine selection of hats in the Sherlock Holmes museum.
Crossing over the Millennium bridge towards St Paul's Cathedral.
We took a little boat cruise as well down to London Bridge where we had lunch at a pud I like. Had had a disgusting cloudy ale with lunch which was a The food was great though. I love sausage and mash with gravy.
We went to Harrods as well to look at ridiculously expensive stuff. Ironically I think this is where we spent the most money! I bought some cakes for dessert back at home and mom got some meat pies to try out. Everything in the foodhalls looks so decadent and delicious and over priced! We looked at a can of beluga caviar (about 250 g) which was over £1000. I thought I'd pick some up for the cats but I couldn't be sure they would like it so I decided against it. I also saw a purse made of python that was over £1500 pounds and a nice scarf for £500. People were there doing the regular grocery shopping which was the craziest thing of all. I love going there though. It cool to see the displays and watch crazy rich people.
So that is the first two days. We sure packed a lot in and that doesn't even touch on my actual grad. I will do another update looking at that bit soon. I was a great week though! :o)

This visit was surely wonderful, but the blog update and pics were lackluster--I talk to these people on a weekly basis, do you think that I want to SEE them as well?
I hope that the good folks at The April Files start posting relevant content, otherwise I might stop reading this blog. Oh wait, I mean the opposite of everything I said...or do I? ???????
