Well I have been working on this post for a while but nothing was really new or interesting so I didn't bother. So now I have let a few events build up.

Here is what happened in November:

I have been to yet another farm show. I went to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. It was nice but a little too crowded. There were a lot of cows. My favourite section there was the llama education centre. Also, I got my application sent off for school finally so I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I really hope they take me! I am just going to put it out of my mind though from now on. Now I have to do all the other work which involves saving money and getting a visa etc. I have a Japanese exam in about a week and a half so I really need to just concentrate on passing that. It will be a very close call. It is on a Sunday though so I guess I’ll be visiting Matt and Nicole again soon! Prepare the futon, friends! After that? I don’t know. I need to start Christmas shopping which I plan to do entirely on the Internet from American retailers unless something remarkable happens with the dollar.

Also of note, it was both Amanda Young's birthday and Mom's! Happy very after the fact birthdays guys!
As for work, not much to report. We played ball hockey yesterday. I took a ball to the teeth which stung quite a bit but not enough to leave the game. I enjoy team sports but I am usually a weak player. I wouldn’t want to go out for a team where people were very serious about their sport. I am still really enjoying my job. I have to say, this is one of the best jobs I have ever had. I like everyone I work with even on a tough day. I never thought I would like working in an office environment but I really like this place. I will be sad to leave it. That’s why I have to set very strict guide lines about when I will be leaving or I will stay here forever and never go back to teaching.
I have found a skiing buddy so bring on the winter I say. We got a bunch of snow last night and I think we will get more tonight. Well that’s about it. I was sick for a few days so nothing was really happening. I have started watching that show House on the Internet. I saw it on a flight one time and I always wanted to see that again. Must make myself study now. Some things will never change I think.

And now for December:

I wrote the exam and it went ok. I have still been a bit under the weather but am on the mend. Tests will ensue but everything is basically fine now. I accidentally dressed like Minnie mouse today. That even took me by surprise. I am seriously dressed like that right now. I don't want to post a photo because it would be too embarrassing. I also enjoyed a holiday movie with guy pal Steven, my favourite movie in fact, which is Elf. Love it!

I am now flip flopping slightly on my feelings about going to school I hate to say. I am getting awfully comfortable in Canada again. I should still go away again for a while though or this whole year will be somewhat of a lazy wreck. I guess it is ok to have a period of down time but I don't like having holes in the resume.
I went to a few concerts recently that I enjoyed. I saw Feist and Bon Jovi (separately) with Lauren, Mandie and Mel. I am not the biggest Bon Jovi fan in the world but I had a good time. It was down at the ACC. I had never been there before so it was nice to have a big concert experience. I loved Feist. She was quirky and fun and a put on a great show.

Other than that, I have kind of put my plans for the new year on hold until I am feeling better. That makes me nervous but I think it will be ok. I am working on my Christmas cards still so they may arrive around Easter. I'm still sending them though! It's just difficult to get the cats to pose of their Christmas hat photos. I'm not kidding. The staple gun and gavel really helped. OK, now I'm kidding. I will end with another late birthday and a congrats. Happy birthday to my cousin Karie and congrats to Reid on making it onto the police! The force, not the band. Ok, I'm a dork. Enjoy these pictures of the Royal and the cats.
