Hopefully this post goes a lot better than the last one. I have learned some new kanji so I think I have this key board figured out. I think the kids beside me are laughing at my inability to use a computer. Little bastards! Just wait til I:m you sensei! I hear Kate is very over due from Karen. She must be giant at this point. I should have internet at home in a week or so. Then I will be able to show you all some pictures of my place. It is a little run down but it has all the aspects of traditional japanese housing. I put a garden in this weekend and I helped my next door neighbour Tom dig out a giant bush from his yard. Good times were had by all. I bought a whole bunch of cheap fire works but I have not played with them too much yet. I think I need to find a space bigger than my back yard to do it in. Apparently they are a common toy for young kids. You are supposed to light them over a candle. This all seems extremely not safe to me.
I got a care package from Mom yesterday. The other JETs are seriously jealous I:m sure! It was loaded with great stuff and I had just run out of groceries too. Perfect timing Mom! I am thinking of buying a car next month, as they are extremely cheap here. You can buy a new car for about 700 dollars Cdn. You could lease too but it isn:t a very good deal. To night I am going to a beer garden and on the weekend I am going to a festival in a small town near by. I haven:t started work yet but I am preping a lot of lessons and desparatly trying to learn Japanese enough to talk to my co-workers. I say three sentences to them right now and they think I:m a genious. That won:t last much longer.
Here is my phone number in case any of you are up late at night and want to call me. I don:t have an answering machine yet though. My number is 263-54-7251. At least I don;t think I do but I can;t read the buttons on the phone yet. Some times it plays It;s a Small World After All, but thats it. Hows that for Irony? Hope you are all well....
I am great. I love Japan so much so far. I want you all to see it. Let me know if this blog worked better.

April! Its official! I am coming over there!!

I got your packaging this morning, your mom left it on my chair. THANK YOU SO MUCH! ^:^ I was blabbing away to my dad about it and he started to gab back. Near the end of the conversation he said, "well you get your passport organized, vaccinations and make sure it is alright with April that you can stay with her and I will pay for your plane ticket"

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECK!!!

So I hope it is alright with you. I know its going to be expensive but I want to come there in spring. Maybe if I book my ticket way way ahead of time maybe it won't be insane expensive. I bought a binder and put everything you gave me in it. I am jotting down my lists to do, and to buy. I am starting to plan. :D

It hasn't sunk in yet, I think I am in shock.

Also, I have some stuff to send to you in a package. Your mom and I were talking about it this morning. I bought you two copies of TeenVogue and two great hard cover books. One is "Canada a Portrait" every second page is a picture. Very little text and lots of great pictures about Canadian history. The other is Historic Sites of Canada. Same as the other one, but of buidlings and what not. The TeenVogues are great because they are half the size of a normal magazine. They are all compact. I put my name down in Casablanca Books to hold any more copies that come in. They are jammed packed with fashion stuff!

Well I guess I better go to sleep, its 1:47am. I worked 13 hours tonight and last night. =\ Have a great day and talk to you soon!!!!!!

Good luck with the garden too! :)
