Hi friends,
I have arrived in Shiojiri, my new home. I won't have internet at home until my alEIn registration card comes in. For the mean time I am using the free internet at the local community centre for one hour a day until it become availible. I want to show you all the pictures of my little house with its tatami mats and shoji screens and but beautfil city in the mountains but I guess that will have to wait. Everyone that I have met here has been extreme kind to me and I am very thankful for that becuase I am now offcially illiterate in this country. I bought a dozen eggs from the store and got them home only to find out that they were all hard boiled. Also, when I put the shower gel on my bath puff this morning I realized what I actually bought was moisturizer. IT was like washing yourself with margarin. I also ate a squid last night. Not too bad. I can't spell check this post either so I appologizE. It WON’T STOP WRINTING IN KANJI EITHER UNLESS I write in caps sometimes which is so frustrating. I will INCLUDE my address also so you can mail me if you like. DAIMON 5-17-3Shiojiri City, Nagano KeN 399-0732Japan. I haven’t memorized my phone number yet though but I’ll let you know soon. MSN also doesn’t want to work on these computers but maybe its blocked.
If any of you get the chance could you please send me pictures of Canada stuff. I would especially like pics of halloween and BBQ’s because they have no clue what a bbq is. Because onward was on my resume everyone keeps asking me what a BBQ IS and its difficult to explain without pictures. This computer is so frustrating that I have to stop TYPING. Hopefully you are all well. PLEASE TELL me ⅠF kate had her baby YET. Thanks.

Hey April,
On Friday there was no word about Kate and her babe.
Man that post was painful to read. :) There aren't any spaces between words. hehehe.
Being the graphic designer I can send you some pictures. I also have some old Broil King and Broil Mate catalogues. Whenever I collect enough stuff to send to you I will include those. I am also keeping my eye out for Teen People. I saw one in the grocery store and it was $15!! I think I am going to be sticking with Casablanca book store. I get my old issues of Rolling Stone for 50 cents.
Matt also suggested that I should send you some powder cheese wiz. :P I didn't think that was a good idea.
Yesterday I bought a "Lonely Planet" GuideBook for Japan. I've been holding off for over a month because the damn thing was $40! I am glad I bought it now tho. You will have to email me and let me know exactly where you are. So I can start doing a bit of research. There are about 5-6 pages on Nagano in this book. I would love to chill there and maybe take two day trips. One to Tokyo and one to Kyoto.
Well I am glad to hear you are settling in and I will let you know if I hear anything about Kate.
Ps. Are you jealous of my ability to add spaces in between my words? ;)
I have heard more about Kate. She is obviously now overdue. Erin told me that they are going to wait until the end of next week and then it's enducing time. That babe must be HUGE now.
I'll try to keep you posted.
You know what. My mac at work seems to like you're post a lot better than my PC at home. It has all the spaces and what not.
Huh...weird.
