Will it ever stop raining?

It has rained every day for what feels like months.  I have never seen more depressing weather in my life!  Tescos is flooded, the playground is flooded, my shoes are constantly wet.  Everyone predicted that we would have a snowy winter but it hasn't quite been cold enough.  It has stayed that very English: cool and damp.  Our lawn is basically only made of moss now.   We aren't even in the worst effected part of the country.  We were prevented for going to Tescos on a very critical day last Saturday when  we were meant to be hosting the cocktails and hors d'oeuvre  of our four house epic Come Dine With Me 70s tribute evening.  The water was so deep it was starting to go into the store and was over the height of the car tires.  Luckily, we were able to get that all important paprika just in time, so you can breath a sigh of relief on that one.

We presented an excellent array of that seventies classic, the prawn cocktail.

These are some pictures of how flooded Bushey has been.  Unfortunately, I took these pics on my phone so they don't blow up very nicely.
