Macbeth!
We went to see the Scottish play at the Globe Theatre recently and it was a really nice experience. We got the £5 standing area tickets. And yes that means you have to stand through the whole thing. We leaned against a wall for the second half because our legs and backs were feeling sore. It was a very authentic experience though. One of the three witches from the beginning of the place was a little person and she ran around our legs and grabbed at you. There was much screaming. You have to stand with your head sticking through a kind of hood thing so you can't see what is going on a round your legs. At the intermission I was late getting back from the tea stand and one of the characters, a blood soaked soldier, almost slammed in to me as he exited the stage. I may have splashed him with hot tea. Half of a party did not make it to the end of the performance because they hadn't reviewed what the play was about in advance and thus had no idea what was being said. It's hard to believe that that was ever common English that everyone could freely understand. Here's a few pictures from the evening and time on the south bank leading up to it :o)

Mark was too big for the tarp and caused us to struggle when his head was poked through.

We all tried to get in this one but it caused the head tarp to buckle.

On the way home we passed Southwark Cathedral which was nicely illuminated in the dark.
