Christmas is here and so are the kittens!
School is over and I have time again to update my blog. I enjoyed the last few weeks but they were terribly tiring. I was really happy this year with our Christmas concert. The choir was my particular favourite. We did a medley of songs from the musical Hairspray. I love that show and have recently discovered a few of our kids are really amazing singers. It was great to feature them and to see all the other kids too. The weather turned pretty poor so a bunch of kids didn’t come out. The last day of school 70 kids were missing because of the weather. It isn’t that bad, they are juts big over-reactors. We had snow last year but everyone seems to have forgotten about that. No one has seasonal cloths or proper tires on their cars. There aren’t really any plows or salt trucks either so everything just remains very icy until it melts.
I am now settling in to my second to last set of university assignments. I hate doing them every time they get dished out to us. I put them off for as long as possible and then finish them in a panic. I know
it would be better to do them now but I just hate them. The people I went to school last year graduated last week and really wish I had too. I know I couldn’t get through the course as a full time student so I am glad to have been part time; I will just be really pleased to be finished and focus on one main thing.
The kittens are nested down beside me. I have followed my usually pattern of unsuccessfully having a small rodent like pet and then getting the pet I actually want. Neil and Tracy are brother and sister. Tracy is a big girl and Neil is a growling runt. They are very cute but not too cuddly just yet. They can be when they want to so I guess they are normal cats. My ridiculous and horrible flatmate Rich and his stupid friends cut off Neil's whiskers the other night. I was so angry abo
ut it. I think I need to move again already. I wish he would leave but it is unlikely. Not too much goodwill in our house this Christmas season! Go home you jerk! We will have some pleasant time away from each other over Christmas. I am taking the kittens to Caroline's parents place for a few days. They will probably think we are taking them back to the cat home!
These pictures of the kittens aren't very good and I haven't forced them to take any staged holiday photos yet like I do with Jack and Vic. I think there would be a lot more scratching with these guys. I have some small santa hats though just in case.
A big happy birthday goes out to Dad and Aunt Donna who are celebrating the big 6-0 today! Wish I was there and not just for the delicious BBQ or Golf's dinner that is no doubt taking place. Love you both, enjoy the day!
Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season and I'll speak to you soon!
