One million things. That is what has happened since my last update. I had my last big day at Onward Manufacturing on Friday. I like Mondays so much better now that I am momentarily unemployed. We had a delightful pot luck on Friday as two other people were also leaving. Best of luck to Rob and Kate! The whole customer service gang was there. I will miss you all this year. After a busy afternoon of wrapping things up with my customers (i.e. document shredding) and reallocating office supplies to my home I packed it in and drove home. After that was finished, mom and I went out for a dinner and a waffle at Williams. Sweet delicious waffle, how I will miss you!

Saturday, Lauren and I headed off to the T-dot for some shopping and shipping. Unfortunately, only the shopping got done making another trip necessary today. I had my most successful drive to Toronto to date. That wiley HWY 427 often eludes me. We met up with Brian after walking the entire length of Spadina and headed back to K-town. Then it was off to dinner at the Keg with Lauren’s parents, Julie and Rob. It is tough seeing everyone for what I know will be the last time for a while but we had a great dinner. I love ribs – a lot. Then Lauren and I ate a giant piece of cake.

Sunday morning Brian, my mom and I went to Eden Mills Presbyterian Church for one last time to say good bye to people there. I am not a very regular attender so my Japan trip may have been news to many of them. Sorry guys, I sleep in on Sundays when I’m not in Toronto! Then Brian was forced into the car to attend my family reunion /Bon Voyage/Birthday festivities. Actually he had a good time and even got a little driving practice in on the mean streets of Eden Mills (of which there are two). Since we failed to ship the boxes to Japan on Saturday, Mom and I got the job done today at a little Japanese grocery store on Queen street. We have just come home long enough to have a nap and head out again. We are off to Milton to see Aunt Donna and Uncle Larry and my great Aunt Evelyn. Good times will be had by all! All I have to do this week now is a million more small errands and finish packing…
Do you think anyone else will have the same luggage as me? Well at least the cat likes it.
