The cats are going mental! They are running all over the place and stealing things. I guess they are at that big kitten stage. They annoyingly get up at about 5 every morning as well which I think is unnecessary. Neil had a run-in with my cactus and Tracy now knows what candles are and has taken down my beloved orchid. They are constantly plotting. In short, they are beasts. Loveable but beasts none the less. I call them the Destructacons.

The weather has warmed up and we are back to rainy weather. I think the snow lingered too long because everyone got used to it. Our Head Teacher stopped closing the school at the drop of a hat and started evaluating how bad the weather really was. Because it snows so rarely, a light dusting before the day started could be enough. Not anymore. Now it has to actually hinder transport in some way or our neighbouring school has to decide to shut first. I liked it better when everyone was afraid of weather.
I am taking the choir on a trip to the O2 Arena in south London. We will sing in a mas choir which should be a really good experience for them. It is mainly pop music which they enjoy.

I have been taking up some new hobbies recently for my amusment. I joined a soccer team and am signing up for trampoline lessons at the gym. It is a six week course geared towards "less flexible adults". That sounds about right for me. I hope to be up to an olympic standard by summer time but I make no promises.

Here are some pictures of a park I visited over Christmas while there was still a bit of snow on the ground. The cats look cute here because they aren't destroying anything. The first one is Neil and the second is Tracy.
